Angel A. Rodriguez ("we", "us", the "Controller") operates this website (angelantonio.com). The website and its newsletter infrastructure are operated under the unincorporated initiatives "Das Medium" (technical operations and hosting) and "Trafala" (artistic management and the self-hosted marketing platform at mautic.trafala.com). 2. Data We Collect

  • Newsletter: your email address, plus a reCAPTCHA v3 score processed by Google to protect against spam and abuse.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, and message.
  • Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, timestamp) used for security.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

  • Send the newsletters you requested — Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Protect the site against spam and abuse (reCAPTCHA) — Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Respond to your contact requests — Consent and pre-contractual steps.

4. Processors and Recipients

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

  • Mautic (self-hosted at mautic.trafala.com) — stores newsletter contacts and contact-form leads (name, email and tags only; not the message).
  • MailerLite — email delivery service, used when enabled.
  • Google (reCAPTCHA v3) — anti-spam verification.
  • Das Medium — hosting and self-managed email (SMTP) infrastructure.

5. Data Retention

Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Contact form messages are kept while needed to handle your enquiry and are deleted when you request it; submissions are periodically reviewed and removed when no longer needed. Server logs are retained for a short period for security purposes.

6. International Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. MailerLite and Google (reCAPTCHA) may process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. Mautic data remains on our self-managed server in the United States.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (for example, by unsubscribing). 8. Cookies

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms, which may set cookies. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not currently load a Mautic tracking pixel.

9. Security

Your data is stored on a self-managed virtual private server with restricted access, encrypted in transit (TLS), and protected by securely managed credentials.

10. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to external sites (for example, streaming platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of last update shown above.

12. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
